Vegas Baby! That is what most think about when they talk about Nevada. So, let’s start there. Las Vegas is probably growing, building and expanding as you read this. The world famous “Strip” is full of world class hotels and casinos with tourist from every corner of the world. Inside the casinos is where the fun never stops and each is a city itself. World class restaurants, cool shopping and gambling and more gambling. Vegas is for the whole family, with many attractions such as; Freemont street (be sure to check out the zip line-awesome!), museums, and near by Hoover Dam.  Well that’s just the tip of the iceberg but you get the drift.

Outside of Las Vegas is where you see miles and miles of desert. but some interesting places. Great Basin National Park, Elko(the last proclaimed cowtown in the west), and Carson city-en route to Death Valley. Reno is similar to a downtown version of Las Vegas but it is surrounded by snow cap mountains. The main cross route is I-80 with US-50, following the old Pony Express route and has been labeled the loneliest highway in America.

Tip of the Day

Be Organized

It is a good idea to pack one room at a time, labeling each box with the room name (Kitchen, Bathroom, etc.) and a number (Kitchen - #1). As you complete packing each box go to your notebook, record the room name and the box number and list the contents of the box. If you take a little extra time to do this while you are packing each box, being as specific as you can, it will make unpacking at your new home that much easier. Also, if a box goes missing during the move you will be able to identify the missing items immediately by referring to your inventory list
