Founded in 1631, Delaware was the first state to ratify the Constitution and become a state. Much of the states fortunes can be linked to its lax corporate laws, so many companies have decided to take root here. With the city of Dover as the capital, Delaware ‘s 30 mile coast line is one of the hidden jewels of the East Coast.  What separates it from other coastal states is the long stretches of isolated sand. The historic city of Lewes, is rich in history for sea lovers and Revolutionary War buffs alike.

It sports one of few remaining boardwalks on the East Coast with its many trinket shops, amusements and plenty of tourist traps.
