Scary roads with its many twist and turns pass through rugged hills, lakes and pristine rivers.  Nearby is the town of Mountain View, on Hwy-14 with its history museum. There one will find the History Museum which shows how people lived in the rugged old days.

Other places of interest are Eureka Springs and Hot Springs. Its thermal waters still attract many visitors since it was used by Native American Indians as a neutral zone to settle disputes. A hot spot in the 30’s for gangsters and movie stars, it was the place to be seen and to be with the rich and famous. Today it has a much slower lifestyle and an out of the limelight status, that gives it  its distinctive appeal.

Money Saving Tips

Do the packing by yourself. Moving companies charge a lot of money for packing materials and for packing services. That means that the moving companies charge you for the cost of the packing materials and for the labor. You can save money by providing a correct list of your household goods to the moving companies. By doing that you are saving hidden and higher charges for additional articles that are not included in your original moving estimate. You can also save money and headache if you don’t accept automatically the lowest moving estimate or offer that you receive. Think about it, there are a lot of expenses for the moving companies and if their offer is to low something is not right.Get everything organized at least one month before your move date. Items that you have and you don't really need or items that you probably going to replace, donate them or sell them. They will help someone else and they will save you some money. You can sell them by a garage sale, by internet or by a local newspaper.
